Olmsted Arts, Inc. producer of Georgia Color Plein Air (October) and the Olmsted Plein Air Invitational (April in Atlanta) brings the largest and most prestigious plein air show and competition in the state to beautiful and historic Savannah. Planned activities include an exhibition gallery, Artist Talks/Demos,, an Artist Welcome Reception, the Awards and Collectors Celebration, a Friday PaintQuick and more. This is a great opportunity to experience the world of “en plein air” and collect original paintings of local scenes created by Georgia artists. It is also a great opportunity to support living artists. Engage. Be a part of the civility and beauty. This is your chance to underwrite an artist award (or two).

Top artists from across our state are attracted to Georgia Color Plein Air for a variety of reasons. They love their craft and love to exhibit their work. They are honored when someone purchases a painting for their home or office. They like receiving awards and building their portfolios. And, of course, they compete for a purse. Georgia Color has provided a springboard for several artists to be accepted to larger national shows.
