Join us Thursday evening for a special gathering for the Ossabaw Island Foundation at the Georgia Color Plein Air Exhibition Gallery.
Thirty of Georgia’s top and emerging plein air painters are exhibiting their work through Sunday, October 18. The artists arrived in Savannah Tuesday and have spent the week painting outdoors, capturing snippets of Savannah life in oils, acrylics, and watercolors - familiar scenes transformed through the eyes of an artist.
The evening is free and open to Ossabaw Island Foundation supporters and the general public. Light snacks and beverages will be available while supplies last.
See a painting you simply must take home? Just let one of our gallery docents know, and they’ll take care of everything.
A gentle reminder: Please don’t touch the paintings! Many were created just hours ago and may still be wet. Our docents will be happy to remove paintings from the exhibition racks for you.
