OK, Savannah — your reputation for hospitality and good parties is about to be challenged!

On Wednesday evening, October 14, thirty Georgia-based artists from across the state will gather in our Exhibition Gallery to meet, greet, mingle, and engage with you.

Each artist will place a fresh, new — and mostly wet — painting on an easel for you to view and vote on. You’ll have the chance to choose your favorite, and the painting receiving the most votes will win our “Catch of the Day” Award — complete with a ribbon, cash prize, and well-deserved honors for the artist.

And there’s more! Artist Luba Lowry will be on hand to sign copies of her book, Postcards from Savannah – The Art of Luba Lowry. It’s a wonderful opportunity to meet Luba, discover her work, and take home a signed copy.

A ticket is required, but what a value! Your evening includes hors d’oeuvres, beverages, artful conversations, beautiful original art, and the opportunity to meet the artists themselves. And if you fall in love with a painting, the price of your reception ticket can be deducted from the purchase price of that painting.

One ticket per painting. Ticket deduction is valid only for paintings purchased during the Welcome Reception. Offer does not apply to book purchases.
